Quick Chek Sneaker Sales Raise $105k for Breakthrough T1D
in General
Not even bad weather could stop Quick Chek’s dedication. Temporarily postponed by Hurricane Sandy, the Quick Chek sneaker sale campaign came back “Jersey Strong” and raised $105,000 for type 1 diabetes research.
Quick Chek is the Mid Jersey Chapter’s largest donor. The company supports each of the chapters events – Walk to Cure Diabetes, Ride to Cure Diabetes, Crystal Ball, Tee Up to Cure Diabetes – and also holds its own golf tournament fundraiser and a yearly sneaker sale campaign throughout its 130 stores. In-kind donations include sandwiches, bagels and coffee at many of NJ’s Walk to Cure Diabetes sites.
Since 2000, Quick Chek has raised over $1.5 million for Breakthrough T1D and has donated an additional $600k in food items.
