Gina Marino will present “The Transition Years- Moving from Adolescence into Adulthood” at TypeOneNation Summit
There are many factors for parents of children with type 1 diabetes (T1D) to consider as they mature. At the 2019 TypeOneNation Summit, we will be joined by Gina Marino, who will be leading a breakout session for parents/caregivers of children/young adults with T1D. This session will focus on ways for the caregiver to help prepare and support their loved one to have a smooth transition from adolescence into adulthood. Taking a team approach and the importance of supportive relationships are some important key factors. Hear from Gina about best practices and approaches during these sensitive years.
