So what is a Virtual Ride? It’s anything YOU want it to be.

Through Virtual Ride, you still fundraise and get perks; invitations to our special events, incentives for fundraising and an invitation to our post-ride celebration! With Virtual Ride you can clock your kilometers on your own time – perhaps you just prefer your own spin class to the open road, or your home trainer to the wind in your hair!

Enjoy all that Breakthrough T1D Ride to Cure Diabetes has to offer without riding at our destination events. If you cannot be at the Ride or you are unable to participate, you can still experience the magic of our Breakthrough T1D Ride Community by registering for a virtual ride and commit to raising funds.

A Virtual Rider can be members of teams, participate in fundraising contests and become Top Fundraisers. Virtual Riders can also create a personal fundraising web page and have access to all of our online fundraising tools.

As a Virtual Rider, there is no registration fee and no minimum fundraising requirement! However, Virtual Riders who raise a minimum of $500 will receive:

• Breakthrough T1D Hincapie Jersey
• Breakthrough T1D Finisher Medal

No matter where you might be during the Ride, you can still make an epic impact in the fight against T1D, when you join our community as a Virtual Rider!
