Cooking Class with Chef Danny
in Fundraising
Are you struggling to come up with new, T1D-friendly dinner ideas that the whole family will enjoy? Or maybe you’re a bit inexperienced in the kitchen and looking to sharpen up your culinary skills? Whatever your level of comfort in the kitchen, we have teamed up with our friends at Village ShopRite for a virtual cooking class on April 29. Youth Ambassador Connor Clarke and his mom Lisa will join Chef Danny to teach you how to prepare a delicious, family-friendly dinner created with the T1D community in mind. You can purchase an ingredient box and cook along, or simply watch and learn. This is a perfect date night activity or something fun to do with family and friends. Register to join us!
If you’d like to cook along with Chef Danny, purchase a box directly from Village ShopRite and pick up the ingredients the day before at select stores (Morristown, Stirling, Livingston, Bernardsville, Chester, Chatham). All orders are placed through the Morristown store. If picking up from another location, you must indicate which store you will pick up from in the “Notes” box during check out.
A portion of the proceeds from the boxes purchased from Village ShopRite will benefit Breakthrough T1D. If you aren’t close to a Village ShopRite, you can purchase your own ingredients (shopping list below) and make a donation to Breakthrough T1D.
