JDRF, in partnership with Michael’s Miracles, Hackensack Meridian Health, and Atlantic Health System, is presenting a two-part virtual series called T1D Training Series for School Nurses/Teachers/Coaches.

These sessions about caring for a child in school with diabetes will be presented via LIVE webinar. Part 1 of the series will be held on November 8 from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. (EST). After attending the live webinar, all participants will receive additional in-depth videos to watch before the Part 2 Q&A session on November 29 at 5:00 to 6:00pm (EST). NOTE: you must attend the webinar to receive the in-depth videos.

Topics for the videos include technology: pumps, sensors, apps; carb counting; hyperglycemia and sick days; hypoglycemia treatment; safe insulin administration; and special occasions.
