On May 4, our annual One Dream Gala, co-chaired by Ruthi Byrne and Dr. Colette Knight was held at the Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange, NJ. There were nearly 250 supporters in the room, raising over $1 million for Breakthrough T1D.

We featured two inspiring stories at our gala this year. First, we honored Leni Ramos and Francisco Leon, two of the founders of Provention Bio. Their team was responsible for the approval of TZield, which is approved to delay the onset of diabetes in patients with stage 2 T1D. We also honored the Madonick Family, dedicated volunteers who have devoted their lives to furthering the mission of Breakthrough T1D. You can learn more about their story here.

In addition, we had a wonderful silent auction, live auction and Fund A Cure appeal.
