Breakthrough T1D is participating in partnership with THE PLAYERS for a program called Birdies for Charity. The way the program works is that individuals making a contribution of $20 or more to our organization can make a guess of how many birdies will be made during THE PLAYERS. The person who guesses the exact number, or closest to it, among all the charities participating, will win a $10,000 cash prize. Additionally, the incentive for charities to participate in the program is that there is “prize money” available to those charities that have the most participation in the program and generate the most money. Last year, Breakthrough T1D came in one of the top places and received a contribution of about $15K from the program!
