. Castle Montessori Schools has been a proud supporter of Breakthrough T1D in the past, having been a Sapphire Sponsor of the 2011 Breakthrough T1D Dream Gala. In 2011 they held their second annual Breakthrough T1D Kids Walk to Cure Diabetes and raised over $45,000! The funds were raised by the families that attend the schools along with matching contributions by the founders, Vikas and Varsha Patel. Students, some as young as age three, participated in the Walk and learned about the disease and what it is like to live with diabetes.
