Children living with type 1 diabetes (T1D), ages 5 to 18, can submit their original designs to your local Breakthrough T1D Chapter by March 13 to be part of this exciting contest. The winner gets a chance to see his or her artwork painted on the Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Shelby Mustang Funny Car driven by Bob Tasca III. Official contest rules, schedule, and coloring template can be found at fordracecar.jdrf.org.Three designs will be chosen to represent the Central Oklahoma office for online voting at fordracecar.jdrf.org. Visitors vote by donating in support of their favorite design. Each donation is credited to the child’s Breakthrough T1D Walk to Cure Diabetes team. So please tell family and friends to vote, too.A second round of voting will take place from April 25 through June 6. The top 10 donation-earning designs will be narrowed down to one lucky winner, selected by a committee from Motorcraft/Quick Lane, Breakthrough T1D, and Bob Tasca III.
