A research updated presented by Stephen Newman, MD and Vice Chairman of the Breakthrough T1D International Board of Directors.  Dr. Newman and his wife, Debbie, have been involved with Breakthrough T1D since their daughter, Emilie, was diagnosed with T1D in 1983 at age five.
