Research into better CGMs is booming! Many different companies are looking at ways to make CGMs fit more seamlessly into the various lifestyles of people with diabetes – smaller size, longer wear-times, different sampling/insertion technology, and dual glucose-ketone sensing are some of the changes on the horizon.

If you would like to contribute to the development of some of these new CGMs by trying them out, please consider participating in a clinical trial!

Rainier Clinical Research Center in Renton has several CGM trials currently enrolling, from a variety of companies: Biolinq, Abbott, Roche, and Dexcom. The studies for Biolinq, Abbott, and Dexcom are all home-use studies. The study for Roche involves three in-person sampling visits.
