The Breakthrough T1D Mountain West Chapter is excited to invite you to this year’s Community Summit, coming back to Denver this May! We are thrilled to be partnering with our friends and hosts at the Barbara Davis Center (BDC) for this exciting event!

When: Saturday, May 31

Where: Anschutz Medical Campus – BDC – Education 2 Building

What time: 8 a.m. until noon

Breakthrough T1D’s Community Summit is an educational and networking opportunity for all those impacted by type 1 diabetes (T1D). It’s a day filled with inspiration and connection as we gather together to learn about life with T1D from those who get it. You’ll also have a chance to learn more about who Breakthrough T1D is and how we support you.

This year’s Community Summit will bring us together to learn from local T1D experts on a variety of topics impacting every age and stage of life with T1D. Our program’s keynote speaker is Stephen Karpen, PharmD, Breakthrough T1D’s Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs. We’ll also have breakout sessions for every interest, where you’ll get to dive deeper into topics like advocacy, clinical trials, and T1D tech. We’ll even have programming just for our young ones, with Kids Camp and Teen Time.

We are grateful to our national industry partners for making Community Summit possible in Colorado. If you want to learn more about our partners, please make sure to visit our vendor fair on event day.

In addition to our industry partners, we are excited to feature local organizations dedicated to helping those living with T1D. Breakthrough T1D volunteers will also be in attendance to talk about some of the programs and resources available to the T1D community.

Ready to register? Visit our event page to learn more, stay up-to-date on programming details, and get you and your family and friends registered under the appropriate ticket types!

If you have any questions, please reach out to Andrea at asantoyo@BreakthroughT1D.org.

No matter if you’ve lived with T1D for 10 minutes or 10 years, Community Summit is the time to get connected with your local T1D community!
