Is your child between the ages of 6-18 and interested in becoming more involved as a Breakthrough T1D Youth Ambassador?
Breakthrough T1D Youth Ambassadors are representatives of the Breakthrough T1D Central Ohio chapter. They help throughout the calendar year by thanking sponsors, attending events, speaking to potential donors and/or companies, and sharing their story of life with type 1 diabetes. We strongly encourage our ambassadors to be as active in the program as possible, but understand schedules may not permit 100% attendance. Please note, a lot of our events and activities may take place in Columbus, so if you are in our surrounding areas, please be flexible to commute during these events.
Our expectation is that ambassadors will attend/participate in half of the events scheduled and contribute a minimum of $500 throughout the year either personally or through a fundraising campaign for one of our events (One Walk, Ride to Cure Diabetes, Promise Ball, Breakthrough T1D Your Way).
