When Michael was diagnosed, the only blood glucose tests were administered in a hospital lab, and they received the results a few days later.  Now both he and his son wear a Dexcom CGM and an Omnipod Dash and they loop.  It is the dedicated researchers and the Breakthrough T1D funding that make this possible.

In fact, her love for continuous glucose monitoring technology goes back to her graduate studies at University of Southern California where she personally worked on developing continuous implantable glucose sensors and making them easy to use.

Neeta is an avid exercise enthusiast and a runner who believes that exercise and diet are the key to a long happy, healthy life. She is married and has two children.
