AN IMPORTANT NOTICE: As of March 17, Breakthrough T1D President & CEO Dr. Aaron J. Kowalski has announced that Breakthrough T1D is taking an even bolder step to protect the health and safety of our community by not holding any in-person events through June 30 due to the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). We will instead reimagine these events, taking a variety of approaches to postpone events or engage with each other through creative and virtual gatherings.
We are continually updating the T1D community through our website, Breakthrough T1D.org, sharing information on how to stay safe, and how to best manage T1D if you do develop this or any other serious virus. Please disregard the previously announced dates for these Walks and stay tuned for further updates. Please also follow www.breakthrought1d.org/coronavirus for up to date information about how to stay safe during this time. Thank you.

Breakthrough T1D Community One Walk is led by passionate volunteers with one goal: to create a world without type 1 diabetes (T1D). It’s amazing what can happen when a community comes together to make a cure a reality!
When you participate in a Community One Walk, the money you raise supports life-changing breakthroughs that give hope to everyone impacted by this disease. And, you’ll have a great time doing it! That’s because you’ll walk with like-minded people who are committed to going above and beyond to help turn Type One into Type None.
We can’t wait to see you at our West Virginia One Walks this year!
