"When I was diagnosed with T1D 30 years ago, my family didn't know anything about diabetes. Breakthrough T1D not only reached out to us offering support when we needed it most but equally as important, Breakthrough T1D had a research plan to make my life better until they find the Cure. As an adult, Breakthrough T1D has taught me how to be an Advocate for myself and provided me with support, webinars and resources for when I suffer from burnout."
