NEW this year! We are celebrating the Heroes of T1D. Every year on Walk day, Breakthrough T1D encourages our supporters to honor the champions of our cause.  This year, the Georgia Chapter will be adding some exciting enhancements to our event that will hopefully engage and move our participants.  There will be a newly designed start and finish line, a brand new opening ceremonies and exciting video screens around the walk site to help tell the story of Breakthrough T1D and why we walk.  We also want to tell YOUR story.  Please join us in honoring our very own Type 1 Heroes this October and add their story to Walk Day.  This is a wonderful opportunity for your family and friends to send a message of hope and a show of strength to our Breakthrough T1D community.
