Please join the Breakthrough T1D Georgia Chapter in welcoming and thanking our new partner, Hourglass Cycles, a popular shop located in Buford, GA specializing in service and sales of motorcycles such as Triumph. Hourglass Cycles made a generous cash contribution and had a large presence at our Atlanta Breakthrough T1D One Walk last fall. For their vendor booth, Kyle Campbell and his team from Hourglass brought along several Triumph motorcycles to display and created an on-site coloring contest giving all T1D children, walkers and their families the opportunity to participate.

After receiving hundreds of submissions of brightly colored motorcycle designs, the chosen winner’s creation will be featured on a custom-painted Triumph Street Twin bike. Once complete, this bike will be donated to the Georgia Chapter and auctioned off at our Hope Gala on May 6^th. The Hope Gala’s live auction is an entertaining highlight of the evening and this priceless motorcycle designed by a child will certainly be an inspiring, top-seller.

Hourglass Cycles has also given Breakthrough T1D one more opportunity to raise funds for T1D. As seen in the picture above, Kyle and his team created custom “Triumph Over Diabetes” t-shirts. They were featured and sold at the Atlanta Breakthrough T1D One Walk and are now available online through the Hourglass Cycles website.
