Whatever your connection is to T1D, we have some great community engagement opportunities available for all ages! From fundraising to volunteering to kids activities, there is something for everyone.
Glass Art Project
Children of all ages and their families are invited to help create a one of kind glass art piece to be auctioned off during the live auction at our 20th Anniversary Gala on Saturday, April 29. This is also a great opportunity to connect with other families affected by T1D.

Rusted Window Shopping Fundraiser
Enjoy complimentary wine and small bites while you shop! 10% of total sales up to $1,000, or 20% of total sales over $1000 will be donated to JDRF. Want to extend the night of giving? Book a private workshop for 5-10 people. 10% of the workshop fees and 10% of any purchases made during the workshop will be donated to Breakthrough T1D as well.

Ride to Cure Diabetes
The Breakthrough T1D Ride to Cure Diabetes is a charitable bike ride that to date has raised over $38 million for type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. The Ride gives cyclists of all ages and skill levels the opportunity fundraise for Breakthrough T1D, the global leader in T1D research.
The Breakthrough T1D Ride isn’t just a bike ride: it’s where hundreds of riders come together from all over the world to make new friendships, experience the unparalleled camaraderie of the Ride community and raise money to find a cure for T1D.

Office Volunteer and Internship Opportunities
The Indiana State Chapter is looking for individuals dedicated to our cause who have interest and daytime availability to volunteer in the office. Internships are also available (college credit is an option if applicable).
