Team McKinley

McKinley has been a tremendous supporter of Breakthrough T1D for several years.  Trey Caswell, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, and Mary Williams, Chief of Staff for McKinley are the Corporate Co-Chairs of this year’s walk, following in the footsteps of CEO, Albert M. Berriz who served as Corporate Chair in 2014 and 2015.  The 2014 and 2015 Breakthrough T1D One Walk – Ann Arbor fundraising campaigns saw a significant increase in corporate support taking sponsorship from $15,000 to over $230,000 last year.  This year the corporate sponsorship goal is $300,000 with an overall walk goal of $1,000,000.

The entire McKinley community understands the importance of the work of Breakthrough T1D because many of its employees and colleagues are impacted by type 1 diabetes. As a result, McKinley has pledged $250,000 to the Breakthrough T1D One Walk – Ann Arbor over five years.  This is the largest corporate commitment ever received by the Breakthrough T1D One Walk.  Even further solidifying McKinley’s promise to turn type one into type none is the announcement that Ambassador Weiser, founder of McKinley, has committed to a $50,000 corporate challenge.  All corporate sponsorships, up to $50,000, will be matched dollar for dollar.

Founded in 1968 and headquartered in Ann Arbor, McKinley is a leading owner and manager of multifamily and commercial real estate. McKinley owns and manages more than 55 million square feet of commercial and residential real estate throughout 33 states.
