Breakthrough T1D has a number of national corporate partnerships with businesses that are committed at the highest level to supporting Breakthrough T1D and our mission. All of these relationships began in a chapter and over the years, their support has grown to a national level. Our partners give to Breakthrough T1D in a variety of ways, including employee engagement, customer involvement, program sponsorship, local chapter and national event sponsorship, and cause-related marketing campaigns.

You and your family play a significant role in fostering these relationships when you patronize a Breakthrough T1D supporter but, more importantly, when you just take a few moments to thank the local employees and managers of these stores. This simple act of saying “thanks for supporting Breakthrough T1D” goes a long way to help Breakthrough T1D retain and grown our national partnerships.

Fall is a busy time for several of these national partners and we hope you’ll take the time to support these businesses and say thank you, during their fundraising campaign or anytime you’re in the store.

The Fresh Market – Though September 8^th, customers will have the opportunity to donate to Breakthrough T1D by purchasing a Breakthrough T1D sneaker at checkout. The Fresh Market will also be holding Sidewalk Sale fundraisers from September 6-8 from 11am to 6pm at all of their five area store locations. (Vienna, VA, Rockville, Annapolis, Baltimore and Towson, MD.)

Walgreens – From September 1^st through October 31^st, peak flu shot months, Walgreens will donate $1 to Breakthrough T1D per flu shot given when a customer presents the Breakthrough T1D barcode/voucher or identifies themself as a Breakthrough T1D supporter at any Walgreens or Duane Reade location.

Advance Auto Parts – Through October 5^th, Advance Auto Parts invites customers to donate $1, $5, $25 and $50 to Breakthrough T1D by purchasing a scan-able paper sneaker during the checkout process.

Marshalls – From September 1^st to October 5^th, customers will have the opportunity to donate to Breakthrough T1D by purchasing a Breakthrough T1D sneaker at checkout at any of the 900 Marshalls locations across the United States and Puerto Rico.

Floyd’s 99 Barbershop – Now through September 30^th customers are invited to purchase a value book with over $25 in coupons for a minimum donation of $3. Value book includes 5 coupons valid from October 1 – November 15.

Wawa – From September 23^rd to October 20^th, customers will have the opportunity to donate to Breakthrough T1D by adding $1, $3, or $5 to their purchase at checkout at any Wawa location or donating loose change to Breakthrough T1D in one of the Wawa coin collection canisters.
