A Heart and Some Courage Have the Power to Make a Difference Here at Breakthrough T1D!

On Saturday, November 16 at the Hyatt Regency in Baltimore, Breakthrough T1D will be holding its annual Maryland Night of Hope Gala, a key fundraising event to help reach our goal of progressively removing the impact of T1D from people’s lives until we achieve a world without T1D. This year’s gala theme is the Wizard of Oz!

It will be an awe inspiring evening with a beautiful setting, maybe a scarecrow or two, delicious food, fabulous company all for a cause that, with your help, is not too far over the rainbow for us to reach.

Won’t you walk with us down the yellow brick road towards our mission to cure, treat and prevent T1D, by making a live or silent auction donation?

The Lollipop Guild of Youth Ambassadors are hard at work for a very special live auction item!

Remember Glinda the Good Witch? We have the pleasure of our very own queen walking amongst the town of Munchkinland. Always admired Dorothy’s fashion sense? We have quite a few accessories in store ourselves….

Come to our gala, wish upon a star with us, and wake up where T1D is far behind us!

We seek trips, exclusive tickets to sporting events, at-home catering, spa visits, jewelry, airline tickets and so much more. Maybe a trip to Emerald Isle?

Know of anyone who might be willing to make a donation? Any and all donations are graciously accepted!

Please consider helping through an online donation, becoming a sponsor or attending the Gala. For more information, please visit https://jdrf-md.ejoinme.org/nightofhopegala.

Each item showcased at the auction is the gift of one generous donor – will you be that “donor behind the curtain?” Speaking of behind the curtain, we have a heartwarming amount of dedicated volunteers helping run the show every year. But, more help for a great cause is never a bad thing! Please visit our website https://greatercp.jdrf.org/get-involved/volunteer/  for more information on becoming a volunteer.

I can’t wait to see the magic of Oz come to life on this beautiful evening!
