Breakthrough T1D Hope Gala- November 2nd– Washington, DC
Follow us on the yellow brick road and on to the emerald city at the NationalBuildingMuseum on Saturday, November 2, 2013. Gala Chairs, Susan Traver and Craig Walling will host an evening of cocktails, a seated dinner, silent and live auctions and live entertainment to benefit Breakthrough T1D research. We are pleased to present the 2013 Hope Champion Award to Jonathan Russell Legg for his outstanding dedication to Breakthrough T1D, and the 2013 Hope Honoree Award to The Soler Family for their visionary leadership and continued support of Breakthrough T1D. The 2012 Hope Gala raised $1,246,000 million for diabetes research.

Breakthrough T1D Night of Hope Gala- November 16th– Baltimore, MD
Join us on the pathway to a cure at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore on Saturday, November 16, 2013 as we celebrate the 2013 Honoree, M&T Bank Executive Vice President Woody Collins and Stars of Hope Dr. Matthew and Mrs. Duffy Weir for their steadfast support of Breakthrough T1D. The evening will feature cocktails, dinner, entertainment, live and silent auctions and Fund A Cure- a 100% tax deductible way to give directly to research.

As part of both the DC and MD Galas, we are collecting photos of adults and children in our community who are living with type 1. We will use the photos to create a visual montage to be shown during the program. We would love for each interested family to submit a photo that can be included with the T1D diagnosis date.
