Kings Dominion proudly presented the Breakthrough T1D Greater Chesapeake and Potomac Chapter with is a donation of more than $48,000 for diabetes research on November 7, 2013. As part of the KD Cares Program, Kings Dominion donated $2 from each Breakthrough T1D admission ticket purchased by guests during the summer season. In the last 2 years, Kings Dominion and its guests have donated more than $100,000 to the Central Virginia and Greater Chesapeake and Potomac Chapters of Breakthrough T1D.

Breakthrough T1D would like to thank Kings Dominion for their partnership as well as everyone who supported this summer’s campaign!  We’re looking forward to next year!
