Join us for a casual gathering of families to exchange information, provide support, and share struggles and triumphs that occur when you have a child with type 1 diabetes (T1D). Bring the whole family to make new friends and have some fun! There will be activities for the kids and a light dinner will be provided.
Our “Special Guest” for the night will be Ky Owen, author of None Call Me Dad, the true story of a 21^st Century dad.  None Call Me Dad is the freewheeling narrative of facing the challenges of truancy and type 1 diabetes (T1D), hopping trains and “flying a sign”, and kids finding their way on their own terms. Please join us for what will surely be a great discussion with Ky!
