Here is a great way to help make a difference in the fight against T1D: Corporate Development Committee members enjoy a distinctive position that requires a minimum amount of time but makes a maximum impact on our mission. It is a group of leaders who want to make a difference in turning Type One into Type None. The group was designed to allow individuals to design their own unique volunteer commitment, respecting their time and talents. We simply ask that they:
- Work with your staff partner to develop your Partnership Plan—your personalized engagement plan for your volunteer activities with Breakthrough T1D.
- Provide to Breakthrough T1D an introduction to a few of your business colleagues and/or friends who may be interested in supporting Breakthrough T1D’s mission. Recruit one Committee Member OR Door Opener.
- Support Breakthrough T1D through fundraising events with a “give or get” gift of $10,000 (minimum). Secure $10,000 through your corporate connections OR through your own efforts.
Not sure if you can make the commitment to be a Corporate Development Committee Member? How about a Corporate Development Door Opener? As a Door Opener, your role would be to connect Breakthrough T1D with key contacts within companies and make appointments.
