Breaking News from the Breakthrough T1D National Ride Team!!!

A new fundraising incentive has been added for the season…raise $2022 and get early bird registration for the 2022 IN-PERSON season!!!

Here’s the details:

We’ll be announcing the 2022 Ride schedule on November 18 during our Breakthrough T1D Ride Global Celebration (so be sure to tune in!), but here are a few secrets we can let you in on in the meantime:

• Registration for the 2022 Ride season opens to the public on January 19 at 12 PM ET (11 AM ET for you if you take advantage of this incentive!). More details will be shared soon.
• We’ll be hosting SIX Breakthrough T1D DESTINATION RIDES across the country, in addition to Breakthrough T1D My Ride.
• Ride season will be longer than ever before, starting in June and ending in December!
• Some long-time favorites will be back (like Death Valley!)
• Some locations will have limited availability, so be sure to use this reward and register early! Details on how to gain early access will be shared in the coming months.”

AND this year we have TWO opportunities to gather and celebrate at the end of ride season in November.  Saturday – Sunday, Nov. 6-7, 2021 in Gainesville and Saturday, Nov. 13th in Orlando!  Want to get in on the celebration?  Email drivers@BreakthroughT1D.org for the details!

Breakthrough T1D Ride isn’t just about cycling – it’s about a global community with an ongoing commitment to find a cure for T1D. While most of us are physically distancing across the country, we’ve reimagined our ride format and have introduced a brand-new kind of ride season: JDRF My Ride.

The Breakthrough T1D Ride allows you to participate in your own way: indoors on a trainer, outdoors on your bike, with friends or at an event near you. You choose your course, and set your own  goals. Throughout the season, we’ll provide opportunities to connect with others in the community through pop-up  fitness and fundraising challenges as well as organized cycling and T1D related forums and opportunities to celebrate your accomplishments. With no registration fee or fundraising minimum, you can join the Breakthrough T1D Ride at any time.  And, you can earn awesome Fundraising Incentives  like a Breakthrough T1D Ride jersey by Hincapie Sportswear, a finisher medal and more!
