Citizens has expanded into the Florida market and Adrian Nuño, SVP of Corporate Banking – Central & North Florida, introduced Citizens to Breakthrough T1D’s mission as his son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D) 11 years ago at just 18 months old.

This year’s gala will honor Adrian and Annie Nuño for their steadfast commitment to Breakthrough T1D’s mission. The evening will offer an exciting night of entertainment, dinner, competitive live and silent auctions, and our signature Fund a Cure program—in which 100 percent of tax-deductible contributions are committed toward critical Breakthrough T1D research priorities like, artificial pancreas technology, and beta cell replacement therapies. Felix and Minerva Serrano will serve as the gala chairs. The Breakthrough T1D Orlando Gala is the premier gala in Orlando, and one not to be missed.
