Dear Northern Florida Walkers,
We are excited to share that the Mile of Hope is back for the 2026 Northern Florida Breakthrough T1D Walks!
This meaningful tradition allows you to honor the person you walk for in a powerful, visible way. When your team raises $1,500, you will earn a personalized Mile of Hope sign displayed along the Walk route at your local event.
Each sign celebrates the strength, resilience, and story of someone living with type 1 diabetes. As walkers make their way through the event, they will be surrounded by the faces and names that fuel this mission.
Once your team reaches $1,500 in fundraising, you will be invited to submit:
• Name of your T1D champion
• Current age and age at diagnosis
• Photo, if you would like it included
If you are already registered, now is a great time to check your fundraising progress and share your story. If you have not registered yet, you can register for your local walk online and click the re-register button to get started.
We look forward to lining the Walk route with the incredible champions who inspire this community every day.
