2020 Fort Worth Breakthrough T1D One Walk:

• We go into this year with fantastic momentum and the opportunity to capitalize on the 2020 Breakthrough T1D One Walk being in National Diabetes Awareness Month (NDAM)
• Registration will open in mid-March

2019 Breakthrough T1D One Walk Recap:

Thank you so much for being a part of the 2019 Breakthrough T1D One Walk.  Thanks to you and your hard work we raised even more money for research for the cure than we initially anticipated.  Our budget was $400,000, and at the time of this newsletter, we are $466,000 and still climbing!  The day was beautiful, and it was great to see so many people at the walk wearing their team t-shirts and having so much fun.  We cannot wait to see you in 2020.

Here are a few walk stats from 2019:

• Total Raised: $466,920 (18% increase over 2018)
• Total Teams: 204
• Family Teams: 172 (raised $284,330)
• Corporate Teams: 24 (raised $92,914)
• School Teams: 8
• Registered Participants: 1,878
• V1Ps: 91 (that’s up by 27 from the previous year and this group of people raised $252,258)
• There were 99 new teams for 2019
  • 94 of those were new family teams
  • 5 of those were new corporate teams
• Sponsorship: $70,000
