• Provide Research Breakthroughs: research grants for Breakthrough T1D increased this year across the spectrum. You’ll see some of the exciting research in this month’s newsletter.
• Expanded Community Engagement: Through new and expanded healthcare partnerships, our Bags of Hope and Teen/Adult Care Kits were delivered to over 500 newly diagnosed individuals/families this year. Additionally, activities throughout the entire continue to grow, with educational programs, networking opportunities, and expanded outreach into new communities (Uvalde, Laredo, Beaumont and College Station to name a few).
• Drive action through advocacy: Your efforts and support led to several wins in our advocacy work, including a short-term extension of the Special Diabetes Program and continued work on insulin affordability measures.

A Community United by Purpose
Our success this year is a testament to what we can achieve when we come together with a shared purpose. Whether you attended an event, volunteered your time, made a donation, or shared our mission with others, you played a vital role in our achievements.

Your belief in our work and your dedication to curing type one diabetes and making life better for those living with this disease inspire us every day. Together, we have shown that when a community unites, there is no limit to what can be accomplished.

Looking Ahead
As we celebrate this year’s success, we are also looking forward to the future with renewed energy and ambition. We have exciting plans for the coming year, and with your continued support, we are confident that we can build on this momentum and move us closer to a world without T1D.
