On Sunday, September 22, 2019, over 3,000 people and 90 walk teams came together in support of T1D research for the 2019 Breakthrough T1D One Walk Lincoln. Haymarket Park was the place to be as families, companies, and community organizations alike joined forces to walk and raise money for life-changing research for those in our community affected by T1D. We had several huge successes including fifty V1P’s, each raising over $1,000! These One Walk rockstars combined efforts raised over $90,000 alone! AND thank you to Lazlo’s Inc and FireWorks, their three Lincoln locations and one in Omaha raised over $27,000 during their 2019 Sneaker Sales campaign!

The goal for the 2019 One Walk is to raise $276,000 to accelerate research to cure, prevent and treat T1D and even though Walk day is over, the fundraising efforts and donations continue coming in each and every day. We are beyond grateful for the dedication of our volunteers, walkers, donors, and corporate partners who make the One Walk possible. Through their leadership in raising both funds and awareness, the Lincoln community is helping make a world without T1D a reality.
