The LA One Night Gala will take place on September 21st at the historic Fairmont Miramar Santa Monica. Frank Buckley — KTLA Morning News Anchor, host Frank Buckley Interviews, and T1D dad — will be the evening’s Emcee.  Justin Willman, star & creator of the hit Netflix series THE MAGIC PRANK SHOW and MAGIC FOR HUMANS, will provide the evening’s entertainment.

Breakthrough T1D Walk

Every year, Breakthrough T1D Walk unites thousands of people from all over the country to shape a better future for those who are struggling with type 1 diabetes (T1D). Breakthrough T1D Walk provides an opportunity for individuals with T1D, their families, corporations, and the local community to make a difference and positively influence the lives of those who are living with T1D. We have multiple Breakthrough T1D Walks in Southern California. Choose a location and register today!

Join us on Sunday, August 18th, at the Pasadena Convention Center for our annual Breakthrough T1D Community Summit. This event is a FREE, in-person, educational summit, bringing together the type 1 diabetes community! Learn about research advances, participate in discussions with experts, talk with diabetes vendors and meet others living with or impacted by T1D. We will also have various breakout sessions for all ages and stages of type 1 diabetes, including discussions just for teens and a Kids Camp.

The Youth Ambassador application deadline has been extended until August 31st!

The Youth Ambassador Program guides and encourages children and teens to advocate for and raise awareness of type 1 diabetes (T1D) in their community. This group is made up of children living with type 1 diabetes, between kindergarten and 12th grade.

Youth Ambassadors will have confidence in sharing their T1D story, demonstrate leadership skills, and collaborate with T1D peers while advancing the mission of Breakthrough T1D (and have fun, too!).
